Don’t clean before you do this 1 simple thing
Weird — one of our best cleaning tips has nothing to do with cleaning.
FORM A NEW HABIT
It takes two weeks to form a new habit. Start now — in two weeks your kitchen could be cleaner!
UPDATE YOUR LIST
Your list works for you. Add to it, subtract whatever's not working.
YOU KNOW WHAT can make cleaning really easy? Planning.
Planning is fun because you’re not actually doing something. You’re just thinking about it.
A checklist is one of seven basic quality tools created by a Japanese engineering professor. Businesses use them to work more efficiently. (You’re not stalling — you’re SETTING PRIORITIES.)
Your checklist helps you figure out what’s important and reminds you to do specific chores on a preset schedule. It’s like an invisible assistant that reminds you to clean various places.
So go ahead and find a notepad and pen, and make a checklist.
To design a checklist that works for you, jot down what needs to be cleaned in each room, and about how often. (Don’t worry — you can adjust your schedule.)
Remember: Your checklist works for you. If you skip an item or a day, that’s perfectly OK. You’re not accountable to anyone but yourself.
I never realized how much of a difference a few minutes of cleaning could make until I tried this product!
